Evidence of the lack of trail maintenance was encountered when I came to a small creek crossing. The wooden foot bridge had obviously been placed over the creek many years before. It was weathered and rotten. The creek could easily be crossed by foot without the bridge. After brief inspection, I gingerly walked across the old structure without incident.
