After dinner, we wandered around the lake, and part of the way up the trail to High Divide, admiring the green meadows. As the sun dropped lower in the sky a breeze blew up the Hoh valley, forcing fog over the ridge south of us. As a result, we did not venture to the Divide for a look at Mt. Olympus. We witnessed a bear in the meadow over the lake, however. I also took several photographs of the goats, which were now foraging in the meadows near the lake.
