After several minutes at the saddle, the scout troop joined me. They also stopped to admire the view. After consuming the remainder of my sandwich and another couple of large swigs of water, I was advised by the scout leader how to approach the summit. Follow the trail up the ridge line (just right of the snow finger in the photo below), and to the right of the small rock outcrop. Beyond, pass over the top of a chute and stay to the right of the summit block. Continue along the trail until reaching a second chute. This second chute may or may not be full of snow. Follow that chute to its top, then follow a catwalk along the east side of the summit. A short scramble is all that remains.
