We left the lake early, perhaps 8:15AM, for the cool walk back to the cars. We were back at the trailhead around 10:00AM. Except for my overdoing it on Monday, it was a really nice trip. I enjoyed the time spent with Roger and Dad, (like the "good old days") as well as chatting with Brian and Ken. I can see that this area is certainly one to return to someday, offering a great deal of scenery in a fairly concentrated area!

Throughout the four-day trip I had covered 28 miles and gained 4500 feet.
