We hit the sacks early that night, talking and watching the stars. I woke up several times that evening, looked at the stars and rolled back to sleep. Early in the morning I noted that he stars had disappeared, behind some clouds. As the sun came up I looked to the west at the clouds again. They looked benign enough, but they were fairly gray. I hoped we wouldn't get rained out of Lake Beauty like my Dad and I had been in 1992!
