He was principal of schools at Bonners Ferry, ID; Dixon, Nashua and Hinsdale, MT and member of Montana state legislature in 1935. 1935-1942 in charge of National Youth Administration programs in Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Colorado, and Utah. Retired on a small fruit farm near Polson, MT. Mt Peterson was active in Farmers Union and as a write and lecturer.
