  Notes	found on rootsweb.com KINDRED TRIBUNE, JUNE 21, 1923 Theoline (Johnson Brown passed away Saturday afternoon, June 16, 1923 in her home at Astoria, Oregon. She was born in Goodhue, Minnesota, Oct. 8, 1878. She moved with her parents Olaus and Sofie (Johnson-Nettum) to Kindred in 1886 where she spent her girlhood days. For several years she was engaged with her sister in the dressmaking and millenery business in Kindred. In the summer of 1910, she left with her brother, Carl and family for the western part of the state and took a homestead in McKenzie County which she later proved up. She was married at Alexander, North Dakota, Novemb er 29, 1911, to Leo Brown. Six children were born to them, two of them have died Dorothy, Leo, Ruby and Ralph along with her susband survive.
