Gobblers Knob / Mt Beljica, Glacier View Wilderness Area, August 19, 2006 page 7 / 11
After drinking the requisite lemonade, I returned to Goat Lake. The sun had shifted just enough further west to make the lake even more pleasant to view. I enjoyed watching a family fish for trout. Another woman fished with her dog. I'm sure the lake is peaceful and quiet much of the time, but the dog found it necessary to bark each time she cast her line into the lake. After several minutes of this noise, I decided to seek a more relaxing area.
I proceeded back to the Mt. Beljica trail, north of Lake Christine. The short side trail climbed just 400 feet to stunning views.
