Gobblers Knob / Mt Beljica,  Glacier View Wilderness Area,  August 19, 2006     page 6 / 11

The day was rather hazy, with some smoke lingering southeast of the area, so views toward Mt Adams and Mt St Helens were poor. The popularity of the peak was not affected though. There were almost as many people surrounding the lookout as there were bugs swarming around me! I took a few quick photographs, then headed down the hill where a light breeze provided a more civilized atmosphere!
