I arrived at Dose Meadows around 5:00 PM. As I passed the first bear wire, I noticed a bag hung from it. This equipement must belong to the man with the blue pack, and his hiking companion. I chose a campsite near the far end of the meadows. A beehive was found in an old tree stump near my camp. Despite my care to avoid the hive, the bees persuaded me to move further from their nest. A nearby site proved to be more comfortable.
