I wondered where I would camp for the night. Most of the areas along High Divide require a reservation, so a problem could have developed if I took a campsite which someone else expected to use.

I ended up finding a wonderful site just off the trail. I lingered there for an hour or so. About 5:30pm a party of three showed up. I explained my predicament and told them to pitch their tent wherever they liked. Fortunately, the site was quite large, so there was no problem finding a spot to throw my bivy bag.
