We left the Norris geyser area and headed north, toward Mammoth Hot Springs. These springs are considerably different than the other geothermal areas of the park. The warm water, full of minerals has created some of the strangest terraces I've ever seen. This area really doesn't seem like something earthly at all, but more like a movie set backdrop!
