That evening we had a great dinner at the Marina on Oak Bay, a small inlet east of Victoria. A short walk afterwards provided nice evening views of the boats, as well as an eagle overlooking his small rock island. We drove along the shore stopping at various locations to enjoy the scenery. We ended up briefly in Beacon Hill Park, which has, among other things, the world's tallest totem pole. Libby remembered having a photo of this pole from our visit twenty years ago. Here it is again.
