At this location the trail splits. Continuing west will take us to the second of the lakes. The trail which goes east will take us to Tumac mountain. We will take that trail the following day. The trail to the second lake is pleasant and only about 1/2 mile long, gaining virtually no elevation. Here's a picture of it:
