We had another opportunity to hike with our good friends, Dan and Carolyn. This time we hiked to Tamanos Mountain, a peak just west of the Owyhigh Lakes in Mt Rainier National Park.

The trailhead begins on the White River road, just a few miles inside the park. The forested trail is well graded and easily traveled. Though the forecast was for warm weather, the shady hike to the lakes was quite pleasant.
