We prepared our camp for the evening. Though there was no rain in the forecast, Tom put up a tarp just to be safe. I chose to place my bivy sack and sleeping bag right under the stars, though, so I could watch the annual Perseid meteor shower activity. We threw a line over a couple of tree branches so we could hang our food later, too.
