We took our photos then packed for our climb of Mt. Stone. We grabbed some food, a map, some water and the GPS receiver. We left camp around 6:30AM, heading for the northwest edge of the lake. Just up the hill from there was a way trail, which I remembered as going most of the way up the peak.
