The night was mostly clear. I spotted several meteors after the moon set around midnight. When the sun rose, the sky was clear, but some of the ridges had a thin fog over them. I could hear Tom rustling to get up and take photos. Though he usually sleeps late, he wanted to rise early for the best photo opportunities on this particular morning. A few minutes later I got up too.
