Libby and I set out for an old favorite yesterday: Spray Park. This is on the northwest side of Mt. Rainier National Park. The area is reliably stunning during late July and early August for its huge display of wildflowers. We were not disappointed.

The sky was cloudy and the walk a bit damp as we started up the trail. As we climbed, though, the mist diminished and the clouds lifted, albeit only a little.
