We had hoped to hike past the Park Lakes and on to the next ridge south of the Four Brothers and Chikamin ridge. We lost quite a bit of elevation dropping into Park Lakes, though. I was still tired from my eleven mile hike the previous day and the others were concerned about getting up to the next ridge and still returning to camp at a reasonable hour. We decided that the view west to Joe Lake and Alaska mountain would have to wait for another trip.
