Spectacle Lake is rather oddly shaped (see map). Simply put, it is two lakes (one large western lake and one smaller eastern one) joined by a small channel. We camped near the channel. The rock which surrounds much of the lake is bold and rounded, glacially worn. There are few sandy shores at this lake.
