After another half mile, the trail began its gradual descent to Chambers Lakes. The whole loop covered about thirteen miles, though we also had the additional eight mile hike to Old Snowy on Saturday. We had a wonderful time visiting this area and were amazed at the huge numbers of wildflowers in bloom. This is certainly an area worth returning to.
