Sahale Arm, North Cascades National Park, Sep 7, 2004 - Sep 8, 2004 page 12 / 35
We reached the lower end of the Sahale Arm around 10:30AM, at which point the views improved tenfold. The arm is basically a long curved meadow. It is covered in grass, heather, fir and rock, providing a great place for one to wander for hours on end, as well as a nice place for marmots to live, as we'll see later.
