I said goodbye to the other hiker, leaving the 6937-foot summit at 2:30PM. I had climbed about 4000 feet above the parking area at Dry Creek. I would pay for this trip for a few days with stiff legs and perhaps a couple of blisters! But this trip was certainly worth it.
