Libby and I decided to take the half mile side trip to Hidden Lake. The trail climbs about 400 feet. Hidden Lake lies in a large cirque. The ridge to the north is steep and impressive. An old trail could be seen leading through the meadow to the west. Though the lake is quite picturesque, no camping is allowed there.
