In August, Libby and I took the boys to the San Juan Islands for a few days of rest and relaxation. We left first thing in the morning to make sure to get on the ferry at Anacortes. The hour long ferry ride docked at Orcas Island in the early afternoon. We drove into town and ate a bit of lunch before proceeding to the park. We arrived at our reserved campsite, and got busy setting up tents, and making dinner. We spent three nights camped at Moran State Park. Our site was right at water's edge of "Cascade Lake."
