We headed to the hills with friends for a quick day hike around Naches Peak. We were anxious to see some wildflowers and we were not disappointed.

The trail begins at Chinook Pass, which is just east of Mt. Rainier on highway 410 (see map). In fact, the trail coincides with the Pacific Crest Trail, at least for the northern portion of the loop.
