After living in western Washington for nearly 26 years, Libby and I finally climbed to Camp Muir. For those unaware, this is a popular location for Mt. Rainier climbers to spend the night (or more accurately, a portion of the night) before making their final ascent to the summit.

The trail begins at Paradise, where the wildflower season is just beginning.
