The rain quit altogether after 10:00pm. The clouds broke enough to see moonlight at times. Morning was clear, but I knew the forecast for the remaining days was for a "chance of rain." I figured it might be best to head down the hill and avoid another wild afternoon, exciting as it was!

Little did I know at the time that a strong storm was headed in for Sunday.
