The lake turned out to be quite a gem, considering how easy it was reached. The walk was just 1.3 miles to the lake, and another 2 miles to Noble Knob. The walk to the lake gained virtually no elevation, though the trail to Noble Knob ascended about 2000 feet. This would be an interesting area to return to sometime, perhaps from Corral Pass.
