From the summit I could see Dee Lake, just another 1/2 mile northeast. I'll bet very few folks visit there. The route down looked straightforward. I made a mental note to return someday.

I pulled out a handheld amateur radio I'd brought along and tuned in a repeater which my son (Tom, KD7LXL) often monitors. I chatted with him for about ten minutes. Lots of fun.
