We stopped briefly to admire the view and snack a bit. It was only one more mile before we hit the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). Having no specific distination in mind, we decided to continue north along the PCT, looking for a camp spot along the way, perhaps as far as Killen Creek, one mile away.
