Libby and I headed south this time, for a two-night backpacking trip in the shadow of Mt Adams. We followed the Killen Creek trail, which heads toward Adams Creek Meadows. With a leisurely departure from home, a quick stop in Morton for a pre-hike milkshake, and a long drive up FS road 23, we began hiking around 1:30pm.
