Dad was quite excited to revisit the Herman Creek Trail, and now I understand why. The wooded trail was quite relaxing and peaceful. Many side trails to adjacent ridges and creeks provide a great opportunity for future visits.

We arrived back at the car around 1:00pm, having covered about 16.3 miles, and gained a total of 3000 feet on the Herman Creek trail.
