After checking into the hotel in Waikiki, we headed out for a walk along the (tiny) beach. High tide had reduced the beach to just a few feet. In fact, the water was right up to the bulkhead in front of some hotels. It was quite the spectacle. But it was pleasant. Over the next few days we wandered through town, sunbathed, and swam. For those seeking the city experience, Waikiki had it all.
