The bear disappeared while I was changing my camera lens. I suspected she might be hiding in or behind a small grove of trees. If there were any cubs around, startling mama bear was not something I wanted to happen, so I talked as I walked down the trail. Finally I saw the animal near the grove and she saw me. I took a few photos, then she moved into the trees. I never saw any cubs, but I cautiously proceeded past the grove of trees, just in case. Fun stuff, getting to see those black bears!
I continued down the trail, past Gladys Lake, and Moose Lake.
