I spent a bit of time relaxing, then began the scenic, peaceful hike back to the car. I passed an older couple just prior to reaching Lake Eleanor. We exchanged greetings and I continued.

I covered 13 miles and gained 2200 feet for the day. Perhaps next year I'll return earlier in the season for a view of the wildflowers.
