We camped the second night at tiny Lutz lake, deep in the woods on the Crest Trail. While quiet and protected, it had no view to speak of. Perhaps some day I'll return to the Goat Rocks area and spend more time camping in the high country.

The third day was a short one, taking us to Hidden Springs camp. Indeed, the springs present themselves to visitors and turn into a respectable creek. Up the hill just a quarter mile or so another small camp area, complete with view to the south could be had. Take a look:
