After some lunch, many of us hiked the short trail to the summit of Old Snowy. The walk yielded itself to views west to the Snowgrass Flat meadows as well as to the south toward Mt Adams and St Helens. The summit of Old Snowy rests at 7930 feet. Oddly, there was only a light breeze atop this peak.
