I made the 3200 foot climb in just under two and a half hours. (Perhaps I was in better shape than I had thought!) At the summit, roughly a dozen other hikers were enjoying snacks. We watched the squirrels daringly attempt to steal bits of our food, until we found something more interesting to observe: Mountain Goats.
I've seen mountain goats several times on this summit in the past. Their rugged appearance and curious demeanor never ceases to be of interest.
