I quickly reached the bottom of the snow chute, around 5000 feet. There were many footprints leading up the long chute, as well as a long impression where folks had intentionally slid back down the hill. Despite the tracks leading up the hill, much of the snow was quite soft and sloppy. Much of the trip was "two steps up and one back," all the way up the chute.
