After all the great views of the Columbia as well as the creek, I found Devil's Rest to be a bit anti-climatic. At this point in time it is nothing more than several large moss-laden rocks among the trees. Perhaps the views were more impressive several decades ago, when the surrounding fir trees were smaller, or nonexistent. We had a nice lunch, however, then headed down the hill.
