Immediately north of the lake, the Nannie Ridge trail joins the PCT, which then contours the west face of the ridge. The trail continues through high meadows, crossing a minor, unnamed pass. North of this pass the views of Gilbert Peak, and the upper Klickitat valley are quite stunning!
