I crossed two more minor gullies, followed the path some more, then stopped for a short break. Since Boston Charlie's I had played cat and mouse with another Bailey Range hiker. He caught up with me again while I was resting. We exchanged more pleasantries and continued together.

We descended steeply, again, to cross another large gully, the fourth since that Catwalk. Then we climbed back to the path, rounded a ridge and arrived at Eleven Bull Basin. I bid farewell to the other hiker. It was about 3:00 pm.
