We slept well that night, rose to clear skies again, and packed our things in preparation for our exit from the high country. Then we headed down the snowfinger. I had heard stories of the descent, and how difficult it could be, but we were lucky. There was plenty of snow filling the valley floor. We descended roughly 1400 feet upon the snow, steering well clear of the few holes down to the river below.
