It was late in the day, for we had spent considerable time finding our way to Cream Lake, as well as finding the proper streambed to follow afterwards. We were hungry, so we stopped for some food. Rather than our usual trail food, we decided to make a hot meal, then continue hiking for a while. We found a delightful stream to stop near. We sat on rock worn smooth by years of glacial ice, and ate a well deserved meal as the fog once again pushed up into the basin.
