The next few miles brought a few minor creek crossings, but nothing as serious. Then we reached Eleven Bull Basin, a huge basin of meadows, full of blooming avalanche lilies, and dominated by high rocky peaks to the northeast. The terrain was beautiful, and gave us a nice place to rest after our first couple of hours on the traverse.
