Immediately east of the Catwalk is Boston Charlie’s Camp. There is a small tarn there, oval in shape, perhaps 20 by 40 feet just on the north side of the ridge. There was also just enough room for a small tent, perhaps two, and a couple of logs for sitting. A single line of stunted trees lined the ridge, with one small open area providing a means to peek across the Hoh valley. But there was no view to be had at this point for the breeze blew fog up the Hoh, much of it crossing the ridge at our campsite.
