We camped at Diamond Meadows that night. Kevin and Tom built a fire there and we enjoyed a large dinner. The next morning we hit the trail around 9:30AM. We hiked the remaining twelve miles, reaching the car around 4:00PM. We played cat and mouse with the ranger, who was going to spend the night at the old ranger station. The trip was great. We covered roughly 36 miles in the four days. I'll have to go back someday and climb that peak!
