While there is no longer any running water in the campground, there is a pit toilet. Other amenities include picnic tables and bear boxes. The boxes are made of steel and give campers a place to put their food overnight. They prevent bear (and mice) from getting into food supplies while campers sleep. We encountered similar boxes while camping at Crater Lake, in 2004. Tom had to see if he could still fit inside!
